Gary Royer shared the following information he found while researching the Old Franklinton Cemetery:

"I went up to the State Library on 1st Ave today and found some very interesting stuff on the cemetery. Including the names of 101 buried there, plus 2 small babies that were buried with their mother.

Also, on the way back form the Library I stopped at the cemetery and walked around for about an hour. The grass was cut today I think. They didn't touch the overgrown bushes or low branches. They did however pick up most, but not all, of the litter. They left some in the corner and under the bushes around the walls.

But, here is some exciting news. I actually found two more graves. I think that makes a total of 24 there that are somewhat marked. They are in the corner where we picked up the trash. The headstones were broken off at the base on both."
