Zach also sent the following information about the haunting:
There is a local legend of a girl who was murdered in the town of Lumberport, WV. Her name was Debbie Buck, and apparently she was beaten to death on a farm road called Reese's Run Road, then later taken back to a Fairmont, WV apartment and brutalized some more.
In February 2007 I received the following e-mail from Michael with some information about this haunting:
I happened to run across your page about Reese's Run Road in Lumberport, WV. I do agree with the general story, however, Ms. Buck was my sister-in-law's childhood friend, and she was shot to death by the gas well, and left for dead in a brush pile on the other side of the road.
