The Wayne County Home Cemetery is located on the north side of Secrest Road, about a ½ mile east of Geyers Chapel Road, outside Wooster, Ohio (Wooster Township, Wayne County). The coordinates are 40° 47' 4.74" N, 81° 53' 23" W.

The Wayne County Home Cemetery was established in 1852, and it appears that it is still active. There are not many recent burials, only a few. While the newer gravestones are granite and contain names and dates, the older stones are mostly made of marble and only contain a number. There are even a few concrete markers, which are very weathered. There are hundreds of gravestones, and they mark the graves of indigent patients who died at the County Home (AKA County Infirmary or Poor House). The grounds are very well maintained.
