Shawnee Cemetery is located at the top of a steep hill off Tecumseh Road, just northwest of Shawnee, Ohio (Salt Lick Township, Perry County). The coordinates are 39° 36' 48" N, 82° 13' 29.34" W.

Shawnee Cemetery is large, and it is still active. There are many old, interesting gravestones to see, and there are also some beautiful statues on a few of them. The cemetery is very well maintained. The majority of the gravestones are still in excellent shape; there are very few damaged stones.
