Seip Mound is located off US-50, 14 miles southwest of Chillicothe and about 2 miles east of Bainbridge, Ohio.
Seip Mound is surrounded by many earthworks. While the mound still stands at 30 feet high and 240 feet long by 130 feet wide, the surrounding earthworks have eroded quite a bit. The mound was built by the Hopewell Indians for burials.
