Pleasant Hill Cemetery is located on the south side of Basore Road, just east of OH-664 and south of US-22, in Rushville, Ohio (Richland Township, Fairfield County). The coordinates are 39° 45' 35.72" N, 82° 25' 41.35" W.

Pleasant Hill Cemetery, also known as Rushville Cemetery, is still active. The oldest gravestones are located on the south side, towards the back. The most famous grave at this cemetery is that of Joe Selby, a fugitive slave who inspired Benjamin Hanby to compose the song "Darling Nellie Gray." The cemetery is very well maintained by the township.
