Platter Cemetery #1 is located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Swartz Road and Lover's Lane about ¾ mile east of Bainbridge, Ohio (Paxton Township, Ross County). It is located across the road from Platter Cemetery #2.

Platter Cemetery #1 is located in a horse pasture surrounded by an electric fence. There are maybe 3-5 gravestones remaining in this cemetery, the others have been destroyed. The pasture is kept in great shape, the gravestones are very visible from the road.
