The Old North Church is located at 193 Salem Street in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Old North Church was built in 1723, making it Boston's oldest church building. On April 18, 1775 the lanterns carried by Paul Revere were hung by the Church sexton, Robert Newman. The lanterns signaled the approach of the British soldiers, and it led to the beginning of the Revolutionary War.
