Marty sent me the following information about the Roper Building Complex:

"Currently about a third of the buildings are being used for warehouse storage by Mid Ohio Warehouse. Two are being used by businesses, but more than half of the buildings are being left to rot and are abandoned. These buildings were originally part of the David Bradley Company, and later a part of Sears. The Newark Company and finally sold to the Roper Corporation. Farmtools, walk behind tractors, chainsaws, and gas grills and stoves are just some of the things made here at one time. By the time I was old enough to remember, there was a flea market in the largest Roper building - sometime in the late 1970's."
