Linn sent me the following e-mail about the Nichols-Aldrich Cemetery:
Lorain County, Grafton Township. This is the Nichols-Aldrich Cemetery. It's tiny, and does not appear to be in current use. Several graves at the front of the cemetery are close-placed family, Nichols mostly. Several markers are replaced with the new plastic laminate variety.
This cemetery is on SR 301, east of Lagrange past Indian Hollow Road and Vermont Street (which is a county road. Who in their right mind names a county road So-and-so STREET?) Anyway, it's at N. 41 degrees 14 minutes 16.7 seconds by W. 082 degrees 03 minutes 56.1 seconds. It has a short, short driveway; three cars nose to tail, if they're on good terms with one another, max. No room to turn around (well you can, but you'd better have someone ground-guide you to keep from running over a marker in the process!). It's pretty much a pull in only, unless there is no traffic on the state route from horizon to horizon, and you have a good set of mirrors to back in with, otherwise you have to back out...visibility is good backing out, but be careful: traffic is fast on that east-west route!
