Knights Cemetery is located on the south side of Packardville Road, just west of US-202, in Pelham, Massachusetts (Hampshire County).

Knights Cemetery is very small, and it is no longer active. There are several old gravestones, but there aren't very many symbols. So what draws visitors to this cemetery? The "arsenic gravestone" of Warren Gibbs. Warren Gibbs died on March 23, 1860 when his wife poisoned him. The verse on his gravestone explains what happened:

Think my friends when this you see
How my wife hath dealt by me
She in some oysters did prepare
Some poison for my lot and share;
When of the same I did partake
And nature yielded to its fate
Before she my wife became
Mary Felton was her name.

The stone pictured here is a reproduction. The gravestone has been stolen at least three or four times, and has been replaced by the Pelham Historical Society. It is a very neat cemetery to visit.
