Flemming Petersen sent me the following information about this abandoned house:

This house is probably one of the most scary houses I have ever been near. It is an old farmhouse called Kastaniely (which means "The Chestnut-Shelter") and has probably been abandoned for 40-50 years. In Denmark, half-timbered houses were only built until around 1850, so it is quite an old house; I would guess from around 1830-1840. It is located right outside the village Skovbølle in the Ravnsborg Community. As the picture shows, the entire house's end has collapsed, which doesn't make it less scary, as you can now look into this house. In the first room there are old matresses, magazines, and clothes lying around, and at first it seems like a blind room you can't get out of. But if you look closer on the walls a door appears, but it is covered with wallpaper, as if the exit is meant to be hidden. The next room is a major living room where clothes, smashed furniture, and other stuff is lying around on the floor. When looking at the house from the backside, it has a long row of windows and a single door; an entrance to the kitchen. The kitchen equipment is shelves and an old fashioned firewood stove. From the kitchen there are some old stairs to a basement, only accessable through a hatch in the floor.
