Forest Hill Cemetery is a very large cemetery filled with tons of interesting gravestones. It is still an active cemetery. It is a beautiful place to visit. There are many old, big trees, and it is very shaded as a result. Definitely worth checking out, but be sure to give yourself plenty of time...there are a lot of interesting graves to see!

In May 2008, I found out that there is a legend associated with this cemetery. Here is the information I received from Sally, a website visitor:

If you ever get back to see the weeping woman at the Forest Hill Cemetery, try to do it at night if you can, and leave your car's headlights on her for a bit and then turn them off. She'll glow in the dark for awhile. The cemetery used to be a "spot" that we all used to go to in high school, and hanging out with her in particular was the best.

If you've encountered anything interesting at this cemetery, please send me an e-mail and I'll post your story on the site.
