Della Lilly sent me the following information about Queen's Ridge Cemetery:

Queen's Ridge Cemetery/Church, located at Queen's Ridge, Wayne County, WV, this area of Wayne County being near the Cabwaylingto State Park, Dunlow (Wayne County), WV. The Cemetery is also located near Harts, Lincoln County, WV, as Queen's Ridge is part of a mountain range near the 3 county-lines of Logan, Lincoln, and Wayne Counties, WV. This Cemetery is also located near the Mountain Home Cemetery/Church (which is actually located on another ridge) and the Jones Cemetery/Chapel. This area (Queen's Ridge) was named for my Gr-gr-gr-grandfather, Absalom Queen, descendent of "John Queen of Loudon County, VA", Absalom being one of the early Wayne County, WV, settlers, he (Absalom) and his brothers, John and Walter, having migrated from what is now known as Hampshire County, WV. Per family history, Absalom Queen set aside the land for this Cemetery. He, his first wife, Nancy (Murphy) Queen (my gr-gr-gr-grandmother), and his 2nd wife, Elizabeth Stevenson (Moore) Queen, are buried in this Cemetery.
