Diane G. sent me the following e-mail about Union Cemetery:

There were many old stones in this cemetery; there wasn't much when it came to newer stones. The cemetery is a decent size. For the most part it is inactive, with a family member being lain to rest next to a loved one. It was well maintained.

The entrance to this cemetery can easily been missed; I have driven past it many times without notice till a few days before I went there. I live in this area. It seems to be hidden, in a wooded area off of Route 9, and it is on the right going north so look carefully.

For that spider, that scared the crap out of me! I was cleaning up shrubbery on a stone and looked over and it was touching my arm. I never saw one like that before. I jumped up and down doing a freak dance of sorts, and started taking of my layers of shirts, did a little scream, made my friend laugh hysterically as I was just about crying. Looked it up when I got home and realized it was completely harmless. A type of garden spider. Actually it seems to be a neat little thing, but I'm not much into the spider thing.
