Cecilia sent me the following information about this cemetery:

Rookwood is the largest multicultural necropolis in the Southern Hemisphere with close to one million people buried there, and the area covers over 300 hectares. The older sections of the cemetery are overgrown with a variety of plants and weeds, as well as old and rare varieties of roses. This actually another treasure of this old cemetery.

Feral rabbits, which are a difficult to control pest in Australia, inhabit the area and are probably responsible for the collapse of old graves and the destabilizing of headstones.
