Blacks Cemetery is located a 1/3 mile back a lane off the west side of OH-235 outside New Carlisle, Ohio (Pike Township, Clark County). The coordinates are 39° 58' 46.71" N, 84° 0' 30.6" W.

Blacks Cemetery was established in 1814, and it is no longer active. There are several old gravestones, and while many are in great condition, there are also a few that have been damaged by vandalism. The cemetery is very well maintained.

Blacks Cemetery is supposedly haunted. I think the ghost stories are nothing more than urban legends started about an isolated, old cemetery, but many people have claimed to hear mysterious voices and see strange lights. There have also been reports of an apparition wandering among the gravestones.
