Adena

Adena, which means "paradise," was the home of early Ohio Governor Thomas Worthington, his wife Eleanor, and their ten children. The huge manor house in Chillicothe (Ohio's first capital) is one of three surviving houses designed by Benjamin Henry Latrobe, the architect of the US Capitol.

The Worthingtons themselves haunt their old house. The Governor sits in his office chair, which seems to move on its own.
