Ellis Bridge



The haunted Ellis Bridge stands near Zanesville, above the northernmost lock on the Muskingum River. Below it is a bike path bridge which was once a railroad bridge. In 1913, right after a big flood which killed many local residents, the bridge had to be almost entirely rebuilt. Today you can see lights gathered around it late at night--the ghosts of those killed in the flood?
