Crybaby Overpass



This small town with a weird name has its own unique crybaby bridge--an overpass which spans a set of railroad tracks. One cold November night years ago a woman took her baby in her arms and jumped off the overpass, into the path of an oncoming train. If you drive across it at midnight, your car will stall and not start up again until you have listened to the distant whistle of a train, the cry of a baby, and the scream of a woman.
