The Smiling Tombstone



Somewhere in or near Lima is a cemetery which houses a special gravestone. Otherwise fairly unremarkable, it does, upon closer inspection, contain the image of a small boy in the grain around the inscription. In the daytime he seems to be smiling, but at night his expression turns miserable and sad. It seems that he interrupted two grave robbers in the commission of their task, so they killed him and buried him in the recently-unearthed grave. His picture appeared on the stone not long after, 100% unremovable, and finally one of the robbers
